God's Church

When I first started going to church with my mom and my dad, I was in the choir and I started to sing in the choir and it was beautiful and the one day before my mom had cancer I decided to go to church.

I used to go to Emmanuel's Howard Park United church around Dundas West. It was a bunch of people and we worshiped the lordtogether and we sang old hymns and songs like Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.

Before I came to become a Christian while through my parents I went one day I went to Heidi's house for Christmas dinner.

My mom said this to me can you pray okay I'll try and I say "see rubber dub dub thanks for the grub". Back then,I wasn't a Christian.

And then I decided to go to Runnymede Community Church. I met lots of nice people: like Mike Wilkins, and people that I know like Donna and Linda Ruth. Mike moved on, and we got a new minister whose name is Jeff McMillin.

I have also prayer partners in my life who pray for me everyday, old and new: Dave, Sandy, but they are no longer available. Now I have other prayer partners in my life: Ray and Katherine, Carl and Hanna, and Alice and Terry, and Katherine. I also have Carl Erickson. We had a couple of ministers before Jeff took over - it was John Mark in the picture and Mike Wilkins.

I've been learning about the Bible since when I was a little baby and I decided I'm going to stick with my faith and learn about God in a different format for me and as I grow I start to realize about my faith and then I'm sticking with prayer and fasting that helps me out in the long run.

And that's my history with God and church.
