How to develop self control?

Self control is what you do with yourself. For example: if you get the urge to text someone too much, you can say no to yourself because it is not healthy.


It's hard to control yourself sometimes when people don't understand how you feel and how to help you when you want something.


Here are some ways to develop self control:


  1. Become aware of what you are doing

  2. Learn to say no to yourself

  3. Stay from negative people who don't respect you

  4. Get a good night's sleep

  5. Learn breathing exercises

  6. Set goals

It's hard to have self control when people don't understand you because you feel angry and disrespected, so you are more likely to lash out at people in your life.


What can you do about it?


Know they have limited understanding and they don't know everything and remember they mean well.
