Growing from grief is growing from sadness to acceptance, through all the stages of grief. It takes a lot of time and you can't rush into it.
Focus on growth
Expect good and bad days
Focus on the journey/future - keep moving forward
Make small changes
Think about good memories you had with them
Express yourself to family or counselor
Express your love for them through art
Stay away from negative people
Allow yourself to feel - it's OK if recovery takes longer
Get rid of your guilt
Practice positive self care
Focus on productive goals and don't give up!
