Growing from grief is growing from sadness to acceptance, through all the stages of grief. It takes a lot of time and you can't rush into it.

  • Focus on growth

  • Expect good and bad days

  • Focus on the journey/future - keep moving forward

  • Make small changes

  • Think about good memories you had with them

  • Express yourself to family or counselor

  • Express your love for them through art

  • Stay away from negative people

  • Allow yourself to feel - it's OK if recovery takes longer

  • Get rid of your guilt

  • Practice positive self care

  • Focus on productive goals and don't give up!
