People with Down Syndrome are Beautiful

It's not good to discriminate against people with disabilities. Sometimes people discriminate and they look at you with a disgusted expression on their faces. They don't want to help you find a job if you cannot work more than 20 hours....

but there are benefits to having down syndrome and we are capable. We should be treated like adults because we are not children.

I am a leader in training. I am an advocate for people with disabilities and I am part of L'arche, an international organization for people with disabilities. I went to the conference Voices at the Table Advocacy Commitee. I traveled around the world and did a performance about my grief and the future.

I am capable, unique and intelligent, just like all people with down syndrome and other disabilities!
